British late Georgian Staff Officers scarlet coat this is in stunning condition for the age with full quote of gilt buttons. The collar is a high stand which would have been the first time to appear on tunics of that time .the collar and cuffs are of dark blue facing with false raised lining.The rear tales bullion ornaments with white turn backs and false pockets. The buttons are a two piece with raised crown and scroll all in very clean condition. The inside liner is in very good condition with the secret pockets to the tails which is also a Napoleonic feature.
