Nicholas II circa 1896 The double breasted coat included epaulet and aiguillette is of dark-blue woolen cloth with a stand-up collar and cuffs of red cloth; decorated with gold embroidery, epaulettes and aiguillettes. The collar are embroidered in gold thread and spangles with an elaborate pattern; the cuffs bear gilded metal buttons with images of double-headed eagles.
